13th Annual Fresh Cut Fresh Start - The Know Joey Foundation

The Know Joey Foundation will be having their 13th Annual Fresh Cut Fresh Start Back to School iniative on Sunday August 22nd, the day before KCMSD starts the year. DJ Q has been involved in Fresh Cut Fresh Start initiative since it began in 2006. Providing the radio-friendly soundtrack inside and outside the 180V Barber Salon, as well as the presentation afterwards in the Gem Theater.

(Year to date the back to school event has given just about 1000 free haircuts and thousands of backpacks filled with free school supplies to Kansas City area children. In addition to the school supplies and haircuts given, FCFS has provided 3000+ parents with information on needed resources and partnerships such as housing, spiritual guidance, health resources, utility and bill assistance, parenting information and much more.)
